Please read carefully before commissioning me of any type. By doing so you are AGREEING to all the terms below.
GENERAL✦You are to provide clear visual references. I do not work on descriptions alone. Un-shaded flat-colored reference sheets are preferred.✦I, the artist, reserve the right to refuse your commission for any reason, especially if it’s something I am uncomfortable with.✦ I reserve the right to take breaks in between, or draw occasional personal art in my down time.✦ Commissioning me means you are here for my art style. I will not copy or emulate anyone else’s unless I’m experimenting.✦ I only provide transparency png files when asked. All files will be provided at 350 DPI. All commissions are digital goods. No physical items will be shipped.✦ For any additional inquiries, feel free to reach out in Vgen dms, or through my email: [email protected]COMMUNICATION✦ As a small freelance artist, I highly value clear and concise communication between me and my clients. Under no circumstance, do I tolerate any rude/inappropriate behavior.✦You, the client, are responsible for pointing out details I may have missed, or misinterpret as I present my WIPs.✦ I will not be held liable if there is any dissatisfaction after a commission has been fully approved and done. This is because you have been given many opportunities to communicate what you wanted beforehand.✦ I prefer to only communicate with the client commissioning the art, hence, no third parties please, especially when it comes to commissioned gift art.✦For any possible life updates/emergencies or delays, please refer to my bluesky if possible: @null3nvoid.bsky.social (I will also personally reach out to each client, probably through email concerning commissions if there are any delays).PAYMENTS✦ I typically will send an invoice. Please do not make any payments before I take your commission.✦ All prices are in USD, and I only take 100% payment upfront. Paying installments are only for returning clients. Prices are also subjected to change at my discretion.✦ I take payments mostly through Paypal, Square (10% off discount), Venmo or Cashapp.REVISIONS✦ I typically provide works in progress. Sketch → Lines → Flats → Shading → Final touches (Preview). You are only allowed 2 free major revisions during the sketch stage. 1 free minor revision during lines. Flat colors are straight forward but redoing the entire color palette will incur a fee.✦ Once I have the approval for each stage, changing your mind for me to revise beyond the provided free chances, will incur a fee depending on complexity. ($10+ depending on complexity).✦I refuse to revise an entire commission after everything has been finalized and approved.DEADLINES AND DELIVERY✦ My turn-around times vary from a week and a half to three months, depending on the complexity of the commission.✦ I suffer from severe carpal tunnel, and varying degrees of mental illnesses. Please do not rush or badger me about updates every other day about your commission. Looking at my Vgen queue, or Trello (that I will regularly update) gives you status of where you are in the queue.✦ Unfortunately, due to my carpal tunnel, I do NOT do strict deadlines. Please commission me at least a month or so beforehand if possible (This varies on complexity).USE✦ All commissions are typically for personal use ONLY. (e.g. discord, social media icons, banners/headers, discord emotes, or for printing as a personal poster that is not mass produced).✦ You are also allowed to post the art on your socials but with credit at all times. You are not to remove my watermarks from my work under any circumstances.✦ I do NOT consent to my art being used inappropriately, through AI/Crypto/NFT’s.✦ For any merchandising, prints for sale, will require an extra fee in terms of licensing rights. This includes using specific art for emotes, which falls under commercial fees.✦ The client is not allowed to claim, trace, steal, edit my artwork under any circumstances. Small edits for icon use are okay.INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS✦ I, the artist, have the right to post all of my works on my socials, websites and portfolios to promote my small business. NDA’s will incur an extra fee.✦ I, the artist, retain the rights to the artwork that is made and drawn.✦ You, the client, retain the rights to the IP/character being worked on.✦ You, the client, do not have the right to profit off of my artwork under any circumstances without my permission. Commercial fees should be discussed beforehand.REFUNDS✦ All sales are final, meaning no refunds, especially if work has already been done. If you decided to cancel before I start, then a 100% refund is doable. Please make sure you are able to afford the commission as I am not held responsible for how you spend your money.✦ Doing a chargeback without discussion, or consulting me first will land you in a blacklist.
If any rude or inappropriate behavior has occurred, it will result in a full cancellation/refund and a blacklist afterwards.
